Marty Leith

Marty Leith joined Newmark in 2014 as a director responsible for operations in Washington with a primary focus on the Puget Sound markets of Seattle and Bellevue. He has over 14 years’ experience in multifamily sales and has sold over $750 million of assets in the Seattle MSA for a variety of clients, including institutional and private investors. Mr. Leith specializes in the sale of large institutional multifamily assets as well as land for the development of new multifamily projects.

Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Leith was an associate partner at Hendricks Berkadia in Seattle where he nurtured strong client relationships and built upon his knowledge of the multifamily investment market in Seattle. Before that, he served as the first vice president for Kidder Mathews’ multifamily and investment sales division. Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Leith spent 10 years as a Class “A” PGA golf professional in the Puget Sound region with a short stint on mini-tours in the Southwest and another teaching swing mechanics in Toyko.

Mr. Leith is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors, the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM), candidate.

Mr. Leith is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Washington.
